Ladies, join us in West Java on the surf adventure of a lifetime!

I was first recommended to visit this little slice of paradise by a friend while travelling through Indonesia with two girlfriends back in 2018. We were hunting for a unique surf town far from the hustle and bustle of Bali and that’s exactly what we found. Since then, I’ve returned time and time again, and it’s safe to say West Java now holds a huge piece of my heart.

The warm, welcoming locals, the lush natural beauty, the slow, easy pace of life, and of course the perfect waves right on your doorstep… literally only a few steps away! These are just a few of the things that make this place so incredibly special.

Yes, getting here takes a little extra effort but that’s all part of the adventure. And trust me, it’s absolutely worth it.

There’s so much to love about this tropical surf town, and we can’t wait to share the magic, the waves, and the adventure with you.

Who’s this trip for?

This trip is ideal for advanced beginner, intermediate and above surfers. You’ll need to feel confident paddling your board independently in deeper water and catching your own waves.

We’re opening this girls’ trip to our inner community. If you’ve been part of a Women’s Program, had lessons with us, or you’re a close friend of Girls on Board, you’re more than welcome to apply.

We’ll be selecting a small group of women to join us, as the group vibe is such a special part of these trips. If this feels like your kind of adventure, we’d love you to apply.

About the wave

A right hand, sand bottom point break that reels for hundreds of meters with multiple take-off zones AKA perfection!!

Shared room (1 queen, 1 large single) - $3350 p.p
Either bring a friend or share with another solo traveller. *

Private room ( 1 queen bed) - $3750 p.p

A $500 deposit is required to secure your booking. The remainder of payment can be paid in two instalments.

We get it, plans can change! Because we have a few things we need to pre-pay, all trip payments are non-refundable. However, if you can’t make it anymore, we’ll try our best to fill your spot.
If we do manage to fill your spot, you’ll get a full refund of whatever you’ve paid.

MEET THE TEAM!

Jess & Dyl will be your hosts for the trip. Jess is the queen of organising and Dyl is aka Mr Good Vibes. Our whole mission is to create a super welcoming, supportive space for everyone who joins us. We’ve also hand picked an epic crew of male guides and surf coaches to help take the whole experience to the next level. Honestly, we’re so pumped to be working (and hanging out!) with these awesome humans again.

A LITTLE EXTRA INFO..

We've thoughtfully designed this to give you that real deal surf-trip feeling. Think of it like going away with a group of your best friends. We'll be staying in a boutique hotel where the staff know you by your first name. You'll be introduced to locals who you'll bump into around every corner, and you’ll quickly find yourself seeing familiar faces everywhere you go - from tourists on surf trips to local legends. In the surf, in the coffee shop, at dinner and in the village.

Our days are based around the surf conditions and we leave plenty of free time for you to spend however you choose. Just like all the surf trips we've loved the most - open ended, no plans, and unlimited opportunities to create memories that will last forever.

Most restaurants/cafes/coffee/day spa are accessible by foot however we can help to organise scooter rental, bicycle rental, transport etc if you’d like to explore the area further.. Which we highly recommend you do!

Please note that flights, lunches and any dinners outside the ones listed aren’t included. Full coverage travel insurance is mandatory.

While we will try our best to fulfil all activities mentioned on the inclusions list, sometimes we are at the mercy of mother nature.

Please don’t book flights before speaking to Jess as everyone needs to arrive in Yogyakarta by a specific time on the 8th
